Mendel Genetics

Mendel Genetics is a medical practice that specialises in genetic and inherited diseases. We are experts in paediatric genetics, adult genetics, preconception & prenatal genetics, and cancer genetics. The Mendel cares for people with, or who are concerned about having, a personal or family history of a genetic condition.

Mendel Genetics is named after the father of modern genetics, Gregor Mendel. Mendel was an Austrian monk  who was the first person to describe the fundamental laws of genetic inheritance by observing the propagation of pea plants in the 19th century.
